REGIME ADMINISTRATION FOR PRISONERS DETENTION IN SAMARLAG AND BEZYMYANLAG: HISTORICAL AND LEGAL ASPECTS (1939-1941)

Abstract. The article reveals such notions as "camp regime", "struggle with camp crime", which were one of the elements to ensure the necessary conditions of prisoners detention in Gulag. The topicality of the chosen theme is in the fact that these notions are revealed through the regional sub-divisions of Gulag – Samarlag and Bezymyanlag. Special attention is paid to materials from both the state archives of the Russian Federation and regional ones, including those of the Main Department of Internal Affairs and the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia in Samara region.
