Abstract. In the article some aspects of city and village interaction are analyzed, the assessment of the social-psychological part of modern cities life is given. The topicality of the stated problems is defined with the dynamics of modern urbanism. The authors note that unequal change between city and village is an important reason of social pathologies. The unity of nature and society should become the basis of philosophical searches in urbanistics.
