Abstract. In the article corruption in Russia is considered as a phenomenon of social-political anomie. According to the author’s judgment the main reason of corruption is the crisis of state and social institutions, which must control the behavior and activity of social-political actors. In the context of the optimization of social-political institutions activity the basic mechanisms of overcoming social-political anomie as a source of corruption in modern Russia are shown.
