INTERACTION BETWEEN POLITICAL PARTIES AND NONGOVERNMENTAL ORGANIZATIONS: DIRECTIONS OF OPTIMIZATION IN TRANSITIVE SOCIETIES

Abstract. The features of the functional roles of parties and NGOs in the political systems of new democracies are discussed. The institutional, normative and social-cultural preconditions of cooperation expansion between NGOs and political parties are considered. The internal organizational and functional motivation of interaction between parties and NGOs under the conditions of democratic reforms is revealed. Special attention is paid to differences in the interaction of political parties and NGOs under the conditions of developed and transitional democracies.
