ROLE OF NATIONAL-CULTURAL ORGANIZATIONS IN MIGRANTS’ SOCIAL-CULTURAL ADAPTATION (BY EXAMPLE OF UDMURT REPUBLIC)

Abstract. For the first time the article considers the role of the national-cultural associations of migrant communities in the Udmurt Republic in the social-cultural adaptation of their members. In addition to the cultural-enlightening activity of national-cultural organizations, their activity is represented in assisting and supporting the kinsmen (material support, solution of problems related to registration, employment, housing, etc.). In this paper, the basic problems of relationships between migrants and local population are revealed.
