AMBIVALENCE OF GLOBALIZATION AND NEW WAY OF DEVELOPMENT

Abstract. The article considers some aspects of globalization process in modern society and attention is paid to the ambivalence of some characteristics of this complex phenomenon. Along with transculturization attention is paid to an equalizing-globalism model. The preconditions, which influenced the formation of the globalization model widely described in modern science, are singled out. The author introduces a number of new tendencies in the economic and social life of the world society that point at the possibility of globalization according to another model.
