URAL SPORTSWOMEN IN URAL-KUZBAS SPORTS CONTEST OF 1932

Abstract. In the article the Ural-Kuzbas sports contest of 1932 significance is characterized under the conditions of Soviet power negative attitude to Olympic movement; women’s participation in mass sports parades, district sports contests and other sports events at different stages of the Sports Contest preparation is shown; the famous Ural sportswomen’s names are revealed; women’s best results in track and field and applied all-round events are presented in comparison with world woman’s records and the achievements of the krai men-athletes.
