FROM LITERATURE TO POLITICS: E. LIMONOV’S PUBLICISTIC WORKS OF THE END OF THE 1980S – THE BEGINNING OF THE 1990S

Abstract. In the article the political context of E. Limonov’s major publicistic works of the end of the 1980s – the beginning of the 1990s, till the formation of the National-Bolshevik Party ("Disciplinary Sanatorium", "The Murder of Sentry", "Disappearance of Barbarians") is considered. The problems described in Limonov’s books are analyzed; the features of Limonov’s works are revealed; the connection of ideas fixed in the writer’s publicistic works with the ideology of the National-Bolshevik Party is found.
