WORKERS’ PARTIES OF THE 1820-1830S IN THE USA: FEATURES AND ACTIVITY RESULTS

Abstract. The article analyzes workers’ parties peculiarities and activity results. These organizations had emerged in the northern states of the USA in 1827-1828 and were in force until the middle of the 1830s. These protest movements united discontented people and were both reformatory and radical. Workers’ parties struggled for working people’s rights and supported profound and fundamental democratic reforms in the country.
