DEFINITION OF TRANSITION AS VALUE IN CHRISTIAN CULTURE

Abstract. The paper sets the problem of transition definition in the system of the Christian values. The role of ideal in the functioning of values ??in the individual’s mind and in society as a whole is extremely important. The ontological interrelationship of moral ideal formed in the history of culture and fixed in "The Golden Rule", the Christian doctrine and Kant’s "categorical imperative", the antinomy nature of notions at the heart of the Christian values ??(good and evil, sin, righteousness, etc.) are observed. Transition is a condition and mechanism of the individual’s moral perfection in the system of the Christian values functioning.
