STYLE FEATURES MUTUAL INFLUENCE OF CONTINENTAL GREECE AND MAGNA GRAECIA TEMPLE ARCHITECTURE BY EXAMPLE OF CHURCHES IN SYRACUSE

Abstract. In the article the temple architecture features of Magna Graecia by the example of the Temples of Apollo and Athena in Syracuse, their typological and constructive similarity and difference with the region center temples and contemporary cult buildings within the Greek territories are shown. In the article the detailed description of Syracuse temples planning and architecture is for the first time given in the Russian language. The author recreates the monuments architectural image and analyzes its features.
