ACTUALIZATION OF PERSONALITY’S CREATIVE POTENTIAL IN SELF-GUIDED TOURISM

Abstract. In the article the author considers self-guided tourism and its types as the realization of psyche creative potential. The author believes that the tourist’s slogan "I need more space", which was described by Z. Bauman, is explained by psyche natural demand of creative self-actualization, new spaces search, where psyche creative potentials are shown and supported with social environment. The author concludes that in self-guided tourism psyche achieves at least the following: 1) it compensates possible inner dissatisfaction (intrapsychic destructive energy) appearing during ontogenesis; 2) it widens self-actualization creativity; 3) it gives the possibility to try oneself in the activity, which is not needed in everyday life but demands special persistence, practice and skills. This compensating activity provides psyche harmony and balance.
