Abstract. In the article cosmic education history is analyzed; the authors’ definitions of cosmic education subject, object and aims are given on the basis of new research material. The authors conclude that cosmic education aim is the image formation of the person of the future. While analyzing modern philosophical tendencies of transhumanism, androgyny and others, the authors suggest considering the global-and-cosmic personality as the image of the person of the future. The authors do not only argue the main characteristics of the global-and-cosmic personality but introduce the methodology of forming some characteristics of the global-and-cosmic personality among university undergraduates and postgraduates. The methodology was worked out in Pereiaslav-Khmelnytskyi State Pedagogical University named after G. Skovoroda (Ukraine).
