MYTHOLOGEMES OF RELIGIOUS CONSCIOUSNESS IN SOVIET ART OF TOTALITARIAN PERIOD

Abstract. The article traces the connection between the culture artistic images of totalitarian regimes and religious archetypes, and determines the main mythological and religious matrices, and iconography borrowed by the soviet art from the sacred culture of the past. The use of archetypal images as the mechanisms of the personality’s consciousness change and their purposeful impact on the formation of the consciousness of Homo Sovieticus are proved.
