LAND POLICY OF THE SOVIET STATE AND PERSONAL LAND USE OF COLLECTIVE FARMERS AT THE INITIAL STAGE OF KHRUSHCHEV’S AGRARIAN REFORMS

Abstract. The article examines the specifics of the governmental regulation of the personal subsidiary plots of collective farmers at the initial stage of the "thaw". Special attention is paid to N. S. Khrushchev’s unreasonable initiatives on introducing changes and amendments to regulations for collective farms in the middle of the 1950s aimed at the considerable reduction of personal land use. The author concludes on reforming the system of the relations of the authorities with the country, which resulted in restricting the personal subsidiary plots of the agriculturists.
