RIGHT-WING POPULISM IN GERMANY: MOVEMENT "FOR GERMANY"

Abstract. The article presents the characteristics of modern right-wing populism in the Federal Republic of Germany by the example of the movement "For Germany". It is emphasized that since the middle of the 1990s right-wing populism began to apply the methods of the movement of civil initiatives combining them with the least odious requirements of the organizations of traditional right-wing spectrum. The author considers the evolution of the movement, analyzes its social composition, and describes the main programme documents. Particular attention is paid to the election campaign of 2014, the state and prospects of the movement.
