PHENOMENON OF ALIENATION IN CULTURAL AND PHILOSOPHICAL CONCEPTIONS OF F. NIETZSCHE AND G. SIMMEL

Abstract. The article presents the historical and philosophical analysis of the phenomenon of alienation in the views of the representatives of "philosophy of life" - F. Nietzsche and G. Simmel. Alienation is considered as a complex existential phenomenon determined by both the person’s spiritual attitude and cultural-historical conditions. The paper provides the characteristics of the European cultural-historical context of the XX century, and the key features of the conceptions of F. Nietzsche and G. Simmel are identified.
