ATTENTION FOCUSING AS ANTHROPOLOGICAL ASPECT OF COGNITION

Abstract. The article examines the phenomenon of attention focusing as a gnoseological category. The author tries to point out that attention focusing is a necessary but not sufficient condition for the origin of a cognitive act, which is considered as happening. The paper also emphasizes the interrelation of theoretical-cognitive and ontological agenda in cultural-historical sphere. Relying on the specific understanding of cognitive activity the article outlines the frameworks of the appropriate understanding of scientific activity and its limits.
