LEGALIZATION (LAUNDERING) OF CRIMINALLY GAINED INCOME

Abstract. The article discusses the problems of prosecution for violation of legislation on combating the legalization (laundering) of criminally gained income. The paper also analyzes international movement for combating laundering shadow income - FATF (Financial Action Task Force), which involves 35 countries at the moment. The author identifies the reasons for rise in organized crime, concludes on combating shadow income.
