PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION IN DAGESTAN IN LITERATURE OF THE END OF THE XIX - THE BEGINNING OF THE XX CENTURY

Abstract. The article for the first time relying on the analysis of the basic historiographical sources of the end of the XIX - the beginning of the XX century examines the process of studying the history of one of the most important problems of national historiography - professional education in multi-national Dagestan in this period. The authors evaluate published papers, outline the area of research tasks, show the level of the adaptation of source data, declare the importance of the described publications for studying the problem.
