LEGAL STIMULATION OF GRATUITOUS JUDICIAL AID (ACCORDING TO PRO BONO SYSTEM)

Abstract. The article deals with the issues of rendering judicial aid on voluntary basis, the mechanisms of lawyers’ motivation for gratuitous activity. The authors conclude that the 'pro bono' system, being the most important tool for ensuring the availability of judicial aid, also operates as a means of improving lawyers’ reputation and rating. In Russia subject to international experience it is necessary to stimulate 'pro bono' judicial aid by means of the development of special programs to promote socially responsible activity of lawyers, granting certain benefits or presenting awards to outstanding lawyers and by a number of other ways.
