HELMUT LACHENMANN’S PHILOSOPHY

Abstract. The article is devoted to investigating the interrelation of terminological definitions in the creative works of Helmut Lachenmann and in the papers of the German philosophers of his day. The analysis testifies that all the basic principles of the composer’s original creative conception are formed under the influence of the esthetic and philosophical views of Jaspers, Heidegger, Gadamer and the representatives of Frankfurt school. Terms borrowed by H. Lachenmann from their fundamental works assimilated in his creative works with the same names and analogous interpretation.
