Abstract. The article is devoted to the history of the Russian military school in Northern Italy during the final stages of World War II - the 1st Cossack Cadet School in Villa Santina owned by a separate Cossack Corps of battle ataman Major General Timofei Domanov. The author pays particular attention to the uniform and appearance of the personnel, describes the structure of the School and the teaching staff, the organization of educational process, the service and results of training the cadets evacuated at the end of the war in Austria, who shared the fate of the Cossack Camp military men.
