Abstract. The article examines the multi-confessional nature of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania as an ethnocultural and ethnopolitical brand, which can raise the image of the Republic in the public consciousness, position ethnopolitical attitudes. Multi-ethnical and multi-confessional nature considerably extends possibilities for the complex and multiple-aspect ethnocultural branding of the region and at the same time it is an original and very positive ethnopolitical brand representing internal stability and readiness for foreign contacts.
