ELEMENTS OF NOTARY’S LEGAL STATUS: PROBLEMS AND WAYS OF IMPROVING

Abstract. The author of the article mentions the existence at the present time of a large number of problems in the sphere of the regulation of notaries’ legal status elements. The problems related, firstly, to the obligation of a notary not to disclose notary secret, and, secondly, to the liability of a notary for his/her certifying activity are considered. The author notes the tendency of tightening the liability of notaries. In this regard, the ways of improving legislative regulations in this sphere are suggested.
