CULTUROLOGICAL MEANING OF PHRASE "TEACHER IS A KEY FIGURE..."

Abstract. The article is devoted to the deep meaning of the phrase "teacher is a key figure" requiring address to the notion "system "Teacher"" introduced by the academician N. N. Moiseev. In the course of the analysis of teaching profession genesis the author comes to the conclusion about the isomorphism of the system "Teacher" and culture as an integral formation. Identifying the reasons of changing the high status of the teacher in the process of mankind historical development the author mentions the lack of researchers’ attention to the problem of the content of teacher’s culture in its multilateral integrity.
