THE YENISEI RIVER STEAM NAVIGATION IN 2001: PRECONDITIONS AND CONSEQUENCES OF TRANSFORMATION INTO STRUCTURAL UNIT OF "NORILSK NICKEL"

Abstract. The article considers the transformation of the Yenisei river steam navigation from the joint-stock company into one of the structural units of the Mining and Metallurgical Complex "Norilsk Nickel". The reasons for the change of ownership, groups interested in changing the status of the Yenisei river steam navigation, the policy of the management of the MMC "Norilsk Nickel" in relation to the units of the new transport structure of the company are shown.
