Abstract. The article identifies the possibilities of leisure-time activity as a factor of the development of the sociocultural environment of the Siberian region. The complication of the study of leisure-time activity trends in Siberia is associated with the fact that occupying a large area Siberia itself integrates a great number of sociocultural loci, which have leisure-time traditions. It is shown that the poly-structural properties of the Siberian culture minimize the negative consequences of "closed" cultures. Cultural-leisure activity in Siberia does not only take place in cultural space but it itself is a self-sufficient element of this space that correlates with worldview in culturological conception. The structural elements of the model of leisure-time activity as a factor of sociocultural environment are suggested.
