Abstract. In the article the specificity of road traffic crime prevention is revealed. The author analyzes the main components of road traffic crime in Russia, studies the objects and subjects of preventive activity, classifies the considered measures and researches the modern tendencies of road traffic crime prevention with account of the use of nano-systems and products in the sphere of information support.
