Abstract. In the article the unknown pages of Paris period of life of the prominent Russian politician, the former leader of the Union of the Russian People Nikolai Evgen'evich Markov (1866-1945) are covered. Based on the materials of Bakhmeteff Archive of the Russian and East European History and Culture of Columbia University (USA) for the first time introduced into scientific circulation the article significantly supplements the data and ideas about the right-wing politician’s life, activity and views during 1930-1935 available in historical science.
