Motif analysis is used as an instrument – the method developed by B. M. Gasparov for literary works analysis and adapted by V. P. Rudnev for screen art works analysis. Television serial "Twin Peaks" (1990-1991) and its prequel "Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me" (1992) initial success and the everlasting interest to these screen art works are explained.
