INSTITUTIONAL DIMENSION OF CONSCIOUSNESS CHANGED STATES

Abstract. The article is devoted to the problem of society attitude to consciousness changed states, their role in society, the issues of their social formedness and controllability. It is shown that the institutionality of consciousness changed states, the process of their institutionalization itself may significantly influence their content and form. The author pays special attention to the understanding of the social functionality of consciousness changed states as a result of individual spontaneous beyond-conscious potencies transfer into a socially acceptable course.
