RURAL CORRESPONDENTS’ MOVEMENT IN PENZA PROVINCE IN THE 1920S

Abstract. Working and rural correspondents’ movement received the active support of the Bolshevik party from the first years of the Soviet power, but its institutionalization occurred in the middle of the 1920s. Rural correspondents’ movement both in the country as a whole and in Penza province began to develop a few years later than working correspondents’ movement. Penza newspapers editors considered work with rural correspondents as one of the most important directions of the activity. The article is devoted to the consideration of its features by the example of the provincial newspaper "The New Village".
