ACCUMULATIVE PENSION SYSTEM IN THE REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN: RETROSPECTIVE AND REALIA

Abstract. The author pays special attention to revealing experience in implementing accumulative pension system that has been functioning in the Republic of Kazakhstan from 1998, discusses such problematic aspects of the reform as the insufficient coverage of working people by the pension system, the low yield of accumulative pension funds, etc.; and also considers the possibilities of Kazakhstan pension system modernization.
