ELECTORAL AND PARTY SYSTEMS AS FACTORS OF PARLIAMENT ACTIVITY EFFECTIVENESS (BY EXAMPLE OF GREAT BRITAIN, FRANCE AND THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION)

Abstract. The author tells that parliamentary activity effectiveness depends on many factors, including electoral and party systems, reveals the advantages and disadvantages of the majority, proportional and mixed models of electoral system, considers recent trends in the development of party systems in France, Britain and Russia, and basing on the analysis of electoral and party systems in France, Great Britain and the Russian Federation suggests the ways of improving democracy level in the formation of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation.
