"POST-NEO-ROMANTICISM" AS REINTERPRETATION OF NEO-ROMANTICISM

Abstract. The author considers the trans-historical essence of romanticism and the specificity of its variants, basing on the research of general trends and specific factual material systematization shows that romantic elements in modern culture can be considered as the manifestations of a new integral phenomenon dating back to the neo-romanticism of the end of the XIX th – the beginning of the XX th century, which is reinterpreted using the combination of postmodernist techniques, and suggests a name "post-neo-romanticism" for this phenomenon.
