Abstract. Presenting the social-philosophical view of the specificity of industrial centers spiritual world in Russia the author mentions the contradictions in the existing spiritual life of industrial towns, substantiates that spiritual crisis is obvious, it is reflected on the social-cultural space of many company towns of the country, and tells that townspeople’s consumer interests destructively influence the abilities and possibilities of urban socium spiritual development.
