FIRST STAGE OF FINE ARTS DEVELOPMENT IN SPACE OF KOLA POLAR REGION CULTURE

Abstract. The author studies the artistic and graphic activity of researchers, cartographers and artists – the members of the European (from the XVI th century), and from the XVIII th the Russian research expeditions in Kola Polar region, systematizes and analyzes a large number of visual texts created in the region in the XVI th – the beginning of the ХХ th century, researches the specificity of art development in this period; reveals the main features of texts, and determines the prerequisites for further development of this type of art in the cultural space of Kola Polar region.
