FUTUROLOGY AS CONCRETE DEFINITION OF FORESIGHT PHILOSOPHICAL FUNCTION (BY EXAMPLE OF ELECTRONIC-VIRTUAL REALITY)

Abstract. The authors present the philosophical futurological analysis of electronic virtual reality (EVR), substantiate the difference between the methods of studying the discovery and the methods of researching the invention, suggest a new method for studying EVR – "over-the-horizon", allowing revealing the essence and functions of EVR as a fundamentally new type of invention of the end of the XX th century, and conduct the futurological analysis in two aspects: in the aspect of existential-constructive function and in the aspect of the dialectical law of the negation of the negation.
