Abstract. Visual text under modern culture conditions is directed towards not only active influence within socium, but also towards reading, comprehension and interpretation. Advertisements, slogans, graffiti, advertisement banners, TV-commercials are notable examples of visual being. They demonstrate the ability to influence and control human consciousness, forming a particular type of thinking. The modern man is "doomed" to read visual texts inscribed in the space of his daily life.
