Abstract. The author presents the retrospective analysis of forming gender subject and gender normativity matrix in philosophical tradition. The presupposition is the idea, widely represented in the philosophy of feminism, that gender differentiation, existing in society, is based on the repression of feminine in culture. From this perspective, the question of the subject’s gender characteristics genealogy is presented as a critical analysis of philosophical discourse, hierarchically structuring gender order in culture under the aegis of normativity and objectivity.
