TRANSFORMATION OF PROSECUTOR’S CIVIL PROCEDURAL POWERS IN POST-SOVIET PERIOD

Abstract. The author studies the questions of the prosecutor’s procedural status in civil proceedings at the beginning of the 90s of the XX th century, researches the normative acts of the RSFSR, the USSR and modern Russia, concerning the status of the prosecutor’s office and the prosecutor, and on this basis comes to the conclusion that in this period of time there was a tendency to limit the prosecutor’s powers in civil procedure, which was expressed in the restriction of the framework, in which the prosecutor could realize his legal rights.
