Abstract. The author studies the notions "virtual reality" and "possible worlds", basing on the analysis of the existing definitions gives her own interpretation of the objects under study, proves the validity of virtuality perception as a special reality, bringing large-scale social changes and actualizing the interaction between two kinds of reality, and argues the relativity of the notion "virtual", expressed in the dependence of the properties of reality and human consciousness.
