THE EURASIAN NOMADISM PHENOMENON IN SOCIAL-HISTORICAL ECOLOGY

Abstract. The author presents the ecological explanation of nomadism phenomenon, tells that the nomads are characterized by a unique culture, which was formed as a stable complex for adaptation to life in the steppe, mentions that the macro-parasitical model of relationship with settled neighbors for more than two millennia determined the course of history on the Eurasian continent, and served as a trigger for numerous migrations, and considers the phenomenon of the Eurasian nomadism in the subject area of social-historical ecology.
