THE U.S. DOMINATION FACTORS IN INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS SYSTEM AFTER THE COLD WAR END

Abstract. After the end of the cold war and the Soviet Union disappearance from the political map the United States obtained the opportunities for the world reorganization according to their new needs as the only superpower. At the beginning of the 1990s the political establishment of the country began to form a new course aimed at the U.S. selective participation in the world processes. In this article the author analyzes the factors, which allowed the United States taking the dominant position in the new, post-bipolar world during the historical period after the cold war end.
