Abstract. The author presents the information about the authorities’ activity on the involvement of women masses into social production within the soviet Far East, characterizes the actions of the state and party organizations on the improvement of the educational and professional level of the Far Eastern women, analyzes the employment of women in different fields, conditioned by the specificity of the Far East region development, and presents the information on the problems related to the involvement of women into social production.
