Abstract. The author considers the mental mechanisms of criminal behaviour, analyzes the transitions of mental conditions as a consecutive motivation of the crime, reveals communicative relations between mentality and the consciousness of criminal type, and pays special attention to the analysis of anti-social and anti-legal aims formation and the conscious process of criminal intention construction.
