CANDLE PRODUCTION IN KUIBYSHEV EPARCHY AT THE TURN OF THE 50S-60S OF THE XX TH CENTURY

Abstract. The author analyzes the activity of the candle shop of Kuibyshev eparchy administration from the organization till the beginning of the 1960s: the sources, volumes and characteristics of raw materials and production, the sales of finished products, and studies the anti-clerical measures of the state aimed at reducing the Russian Orthodox Church economic activity in the regions at the turn of the 50s-60s of the ХХ th century.
