INCREASING ROLE OF TECHNOLOGIES IN MODERN POLITICAL PROCESS

Abstract. The author conducts the comparative analysis of the definitions of the notion "technology", considers this term with respect to political sciences, reveals the features of technology and its procedure components, considers the conditions of political process technologization and its stages, studies this phenomenon in two interrelated aspects: as a quantitative increase of political activity technical component and as a social-political activity formalization; determines the essential characteristics of political process technologization, and reveals the role, place and significance of technologies in political process.
