Abstract. The author considers the maximum rationality of all life aspects as the main thing in art nouveau content, most notably apparent in the sphere of culture, which acquired secular and rationalist character; and tells that art nouveau implemented project ensured many spheres transformation, and it contributed to the differentiation of most valuable spheres and conditioned the autonomy of science, morality, and art.
